I know this has been discussed previously, but since the discussions happened years ago I am wondering if there is any update in the current versions of Storyline on the Wordcount feature for slides and courses? Is there any way to count the number of words on the slides or for the whole course in Storyline? (I mean a way other that exporting the slides into Word). Thanks.
I understand you are looking for a way to count the number of words on a slide or in a course as a whole. Currently, we do not have a word count feature in Storyline, but we have a feature request logged for this, so it is still on our radar! I'll share your comments with my team, and be sure to update you with any news should this make it onto our feature roadmap.
One workaround you can try, in addition to exporting the slides into Word, is to use the export for translation feature. This will give you an estimated word count, as there may be words counted that you don't want included in the total, such as answer choices.
