I am trying to create a cross word in Articulate story line. I have limited the text entry field to one character. When a text entry is entered in one box, I would like to auto flow in to the next text entry box. Otherwise the user needs to enter one character, then click next box enter character etc.
The Crossword will be used only on PC's, so I don't need to worry about touchscreens.
I use Eclipse Crossword. It generates a crossword that you. can import as a web object, and does all the work for you. Using a dedicated tool like that, you don’t need to worry about anything. It has a free version, and if you are willing to edit the html a little, you can replace their branding, unless they have changed their terms to forbid it.
Could you walk us through changing the html? I want to see if I can change something. I don't like how it presents the "check answers" and the branding. I don't mind using the branding, but I don't like where it shows up on the screen. I don't mind messing with things, but not sure how to get in or where to start. Thank you!
