Zoom/focus using a keyboard key
Feb 15, 2017
Hi...I was taught a quick way to focus the readers on an image in a video clip. We weren't using the Zoom function. We simply used the keyboard to create a quick "circle wave" around the image....not sure what else to call this. The circle wave would appear and disappear within seconds...just long enough to capture the viewer's attention. Does anyone know how I can repeat this (because I forgot how to do this). I have attached a screen shot.

Hi there Antoinette!
Thanks so much for sharing that screenshot, but I'm not familiar with the zoom function you're describing. Here is a list of keyboard shortcuts for Storyline 1 and Storyline 2, but I don't see anything there that matches your description. Do you remember if this was something you added while recording a screencast in Storyline, or perhaps was it another video recording tool?
Hello Antoinette - Sounds like you are asking about a mouse pointer setting, which would be computer based:
Hi Alyssa...thank you for your reply. Your keyboard shortcuts are useful but I don't see the one I mean. Another colleague remembers this feature as "CTR and SPACEBAR" but it does not seem to be working for me anymore.

Antoinette
I think you are right! I used to use my laptop for Articulate elearning and now I am using a desktop.
