zoom on hover using javascript

I am a rookie at using javascript and would like to know how to add a zoom on hover feature to my slides. 

After looking around, i would like to use this:

The reason I am trying to add this, is that some users are not able to see the details on some of the pictures due to screen size limitations. I tried adding zoom to the picture, but then they are not able to click the hotspots (while zoomed in). 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
