I know how to apply background styles, the problem I am having is isolating styles for each scene. When I change styles for one scene the program automatically updates it for the ENTIRE project. Any thoughts?
Yes thank you, I am able to format backgrounds, the problem that I am having is that I have multiple scenes within my project and I would like to have different backgrounds for different scenes. When I change the background, it applies it to ALL of the scenes :(

Would this work for you? Change to Story view and click the Design tab on the Ribbon.
