I was asked to implement a "pencil functionality" in one of my storyline projects. We want to give users the option to use a pencil/marker tool to highlight or make a note on some of the slides (similar to paint tools)..any idea if and how this can be achieved in storyline?
There's no Storyline marker tool for drawing on published courses.
You can add a text-entry box to a slide, which would let a user type notes. The associated variables would contain their entries, which could be compiled on a later slide. (Check out Articulate's tutorials/user-guides if you're unfamiliar with text-entry boxes and/or variables).
If you want the users to be able to keep a copy, there are multiple threads in the forum about ways to let someone print a given slide.

Hi Judy,
Thanks for your reply. I will try this!
