Adding an Interactive 360 Video Tour to Storyline or Rise
Jul 24, 2020
I'd like to embed a virtual interactive video tour into a Rise module.
I figured the best way to do this would be to add it to a Storyline block, which necessitates adding the 360 video to a Storyline file.
The best way to do this, it seems, is to add the 360 video as a web object. I've done this by adding a web object to my slide in Storyline 360, then adding the URL of the video (I'm using a video tour from Google Poly for now).
The URL to the 360 tour works by just accessing the URL. However, when I embed it as a web object in Storyline and publish it to either Review or as a Web output, the Poly video refuses to load.
Does anyone else have experience successfully loading a 360 video to Rise, either via the Storyline method I've tried above, or via some other manner?
Thanks in advance!
Ashley

Did you try the embed block in Rise? I just tested a Google Poly and it worked for me.

To use the embed block you need the iframe code and not the URL.
Thanks so much, Tom--the embed worked beautifully in Rise! Do you have any tips for how to get this to work in Storyline 360, as well?
Insert Video>Video from website and then paste the code. Works the same way.
So helpful, Tom--thank you, again!
