You'll be happy to know that Storyline 360 includes text-to-speech voiceover capabilities. It's very easy to set up and you can find out more about how the feature works in this article.

I would love it if the included text-to-speech feature could a) speak Austrian German b) sound as good in German as it sounds in English c) read variables, too
At the current state, it is not yet ready for my use cases.
Hi Stefan. It's always good to hear what additional features people want our apps to include. If you've got time, one of the best ways to help our app development team know about requests like this (or any future ones you might have) is to fill out our feature request form here.
Hi, Can you possibly describe the ease of use of the interface in terms of importing/exporting? We are looking for a tool last reduces the 'grunt work' to a minimum. Some of the tools do not show the interface. (With hundreds of audio clips in a course, it's important to be able to readily export module batches, if you know what I mean.) The online cloud 'testing' interfaces do not seem to provide insight into what one may actually be dealing with when exporting say, 200 clips for just one module.) Thanks for your help.

(Murf was interesting as the voices seems very good; but if the import/export cannot be streamlined, the tool would not be a choice.

TechSmith Audiate now includes text to speech and it sounds pretty good. Very easy to navigate.
