Bengali script in Articulate 13

Oct 27, 2014

I am trying to create an elearning course in Bengali using the Articulate 13 package. I have selected the Vrinda font in the settings for the Presenter, Quizmaker and the Engage tools. However, the words seem to be jumbled up when I publish them. Is there some additional settings I need to configure, or does Articulate 13 not support Bengali. Request your help to resolve this.

Hi Siddhart!

Ensure that you have the correct font installed on your system, especially if you'll be using a non-Western language. Even though the font may display properly in PowerPoint, it may not actually be installed on your computer. You can verify which fonts are installed on your system by going to C:\Windows\Fonts.

For the best results, it's recommended that you use a Unicode font, such as Arial Unicode MS.

I just checked. So the bengali contetnt that I have is in Vrinda font. Now when I am changing it to the Arial Unicode font, it changes the words. And thats exactly what Articulate 13 also seems to be doing - its automatically converting some texts into Arial Unicode from Vrinda. Please note that before creating a new interaction or a quiz, i am making sure that I have changed all the fonts to Vrinda in Articulate, and only then I am pasting the content which is also in Vrinda. Any further suggestions are most welcome.
