Branching & Triggers HELP!

Feb 06, 2020

Hello All!  Newbie here to Articulate 360 and trying to build a course with a quiz that if the learner chooses the incorrect response, the branching takes the learner back to slide where the answer is provided.  Once the slide is viewed for the second time, I want the learner to click next and be taken back to the quiz to retry the question.

I've found various similar issues, but I can seem to get my story to function as described.  I've attached a screenshot of how I set the triggers (final set of multiple attempts!).  My story in preview works as expected when a correct answer is given.  However, when an incorrect answer is given, the story branches to the correct slide, but on advancement does not go back to the question slide, but rather just progresses to the next slide in the scene.

Any advice on how to correct is greatly appreciated!

You can use lightboxes to have the learner review specific course content when they get a question incorrect. Take a look at item #1 in this article.  You would add a button to the incorrect feedback layer that the user clicks, and it will lightbox the specific content. After the learner closes the lightbox, they can attempt the quiz question again.
