Does anyone have experience developing a company-wide competition or game using online modules? Any fun ideas on how to build a healthy sense of competition, and specific ideas for incorporating gamification into the modules?
Any kinds of ideas would be very much appreciated!
I saw an example of a quiz-app,that used content from e-learning-modules. Learners take part in person or with a whole group. This app is used worldwide in the company. In this competition, learners can win travels.
Something we found works well is to create two levels of goals/competition.
An overall target that is shared by all (eg "We need to hit 90% as an organization")
Small unit/team rankings (eg "First team to goal wins" or "Highest % Team wins")
Prizes of course help, but remember to track and internally market progress along the way. For example the classic giant thermometer to measure overall progress right alongside a leaderboard for team competition. Note: Physical posters/displays seem to work well
The combination of a shared goal and competition inside that goal is super effective. Hope it helps you!

I built 3 games for an organisation where we reported all the data to a Google sheet, the winner of all 3 won an iPad
