Google's new "Material Design"

Hi all,
Just wanted to share this link about google's new "material design" as launched in the I/O developer conference this week.

As a newbie to design, I am loving the specs and the thinking behind each new idea. Some of those interactions are really cool and I am sure some of you have been using similar ideas in your courses.
