Does anyone have any experience to share with creating an external leaderboard? I want to send scores and names from Articulate 360 to a public leaderboard.
Is there a tool out there that can create a leaderboard and store data? My client doesn't have an LMS or LRS, so am looking in to other options for them.
The spreadsheet is merely the container that holds values. You can retrieve these values, store them in Stoyline variables and then 'style' them inside Storyline, use them in conditions for triggers, etc.
Melissa Milloway has played around with some free/lowcost LRS and she has a demo of some sort of leaderboard. She may have some ideas. You can usually find her on LinkedIn.
Also, Ken Haasbuilt this cool demo a while back and his version had a leader board. He's not active her but you may be able to connect with him on LinkedIn, as well.

Check out this tutorial here.
Thanks I've seen this, I am wanting a more visual leaderboard than a Google spreadsheet.

It's probably too late for this, but yes, there is a tool, it's a widget that you add to the module in Storyline: https://cluelabs.com/leaderboard-high-scores-elearning-widget.html
Michael Hinze the article you reference above talks about Storyline 2. What about 360?
