So I have this slide and I want for users to be presented with the blank buttons and when they click the text appears. How do I do this?? Thank you :-)
Make the Normal state of each object blank. Add a Selected state, and put the text there. When you add the pre-built Selected state, Storyline will automatically display it when the user clicks the object. (Be aware that Storyline will also revert to the Normal state if the user clicks again. In other words, it automatically toggles.)

That's brilliant Judy, thanks so much for your help.
