Help with Variables

I'm looking for some help to resolve an issue I'm having with number variables. 

What I'm trying to achieve with the attached file is for the user to select which values are strengths and which ones are opportunities for them. Their selection will then be displayed on the review layer in a grid. 

I thought I had it working correctly; however, the last value selected never transfers over to the review layer - regardless of which value is selected last. 

Could someone please take a look and let me know my error. Thanks!
