We built a simulator in a Storyline 360, and it works well. To finish it off we want to ask the learner to click a simple thumbs up or thumbs down to show us what they think. We use Moodle 4.1 and other than pass and fail/complete and not complete I am not sure how to extract the data from the SCORM package.
Use a Survey question to collect the response. You'll also need a survey-Results slide to have the response sent to the LMS.
Another option: If you don't have a graded quiz, you could use a T/F question to ask for that feedback. You'd also need a graded-Results slide, because that's what tells the program to send the data to the LMS. Since it doesn't matter how they respond, set the passing score to 0%. This would allow you to use the "quiz" for tracking completion.
You'll have to talk to your LMS folks about how to extract the survey or quiz details.
