Philly User Group

May 10, 2011

Hi Everyone,

I just started using Articulate a few months ago and I was wondering if there are ever any Philly user groups or if anyone would be interested in attending one. Doesn't have to be center city...King of Prussia or the "burbs" are fine with me. I would love to just bounce idea around and see what other things people are working on.

I read a post about the Philadelphia conference a few years ago and was so jealous. :(

Let's see where this post takes us. ha!

Hey Jamee and Iain -  Great idea to connect with others that way! Did you know that Tom Kuhlmann's doing some sessions for the Greater Philadelphia chapter of ASTD? Those gatherings would be a nice place to meet other Articulate users and e-learning peeps in your area, and generate interest in forming your own user group. Here's the info:

There's also an Articulate training session being held in Philly later in the year, in November. That would be another good way to connect with local Articulate users. You can get more info by going to our training page, and in the Open Enrollment section, select the November 1-2 session.

So great to hear so much interest! King of Prussia might be a good location for us to meet. I don't think we need any place official. Heck, a coffee shop could  easily hold the 4-5 of us.

Is anyone definitely going to the ASTD meeting to see Tom speak? $55 for non-members is not bad at all. I am pretty sure I will go. Anyone else?

If everyone is interested in going, that could be our first get together and we can go from there.

Holla back!

Ps. Iain- Northside as well. I can probably see your house from here. ha!
