Publishing sign off

Mar 05, 2020

Hi E-Learning -

What do you use for a process sheet before you publish a course? Does anyone have a document they are willing to share? Your feedback is welcome.
Thank you.

I created a course with a SIM and had 3 other people review the training course. However, when the course was published and assigned to the user there was some spelling errors/typos. I want to learn what others are doing to ensure this doesn’t happen. I am fairly new to e-learning and want to learn. I want to know if other companies are using a sign off finalization documents before the course is published? Any tips or feedback on how others handle this would be great.

Thank you,

We do our course design using a Word document. All of the Learning objectives, Course Content, activities and quizzes get reviewed and signed off at different stages using this document.

So we have many sets of eyes that find and correct any errors. We also have an editor that does a formal review of the final version of the course document.

Only once everything is signed off,  do we start developing the course in Articulate.

Hi Mel,

Gotcha! In that case, I definitely think the checklist I shared will be helpful. :)

Also, just thought I'd point out that when you respond directly from your email, your signature is appended to the message. You may want to pop in there and edit out any personal information that you don't want to share with the community.
