quiz question

Jun 09, 2017

I wanted to know if anyone has ever developed a quiz that requires the end user to click on elements in a chronological order for points. Not matching or dragging. Anyone have ideas of how it could be done?

Hi Robert,

Yes, this can be done by converting a slide to Freeform. I've attached an example to this post. Essentially, here is what I did:

  1. Create a slide with your choices.
  2. Add states to your choices (my example has 1 through 4 since there are 4 choices).
  3. Create 2 Submit buttons (one for the correct and incorrect) and hide these at first.
  4. Convert the slide to Freeform (Pick One option).
  5. Choose one of the Submit buttons to be the "correct" option.
  6. Program the slide so that you change the state of the Submit buttons to normal when the order is correct or incorrect accordingly.

This is a very high-level overview of what I did. You will need to examine the SL file for more detail. I hope this helps.
