Hi Matin,

Articulate Presenter does in fact convert PowerPoint into Flash. (No SDK or API is needed to publish your PowerPoint slides to Flash output.) Have you taken a look at the free trial? Can you say a little more about what you're looking for?

thanks for the response, Jeanette,

we do have license for Articulate Studio '09 and using the PowerPoint Plug-in to convert PPT to Flash Output.

Little More about my requirement:

we have a intranet corporate website for uploading documents such as PPT, DOC, PDF, VIDEOS ... built using ASP.NET technology

if someone uploads the document on the website, using SDK / API, converting the document into SWF format so that it can be viewed within the browser.

hope i am clear with that now.

Hey Matin,

Articulate Presenter is designed to convert PowerPoint content to Flash, and yes, you can also add resources such as videos, PDFs, etc. to your course. In order for learners to view them properly, though, you'd need to host them on a web server or use an LMS (or a service such as Articulate Online). Are you having trouble with a specific feature or aspect of your course?

Matin,

Just re-read your second post and I think maybe I missed this part the first time:

"...if someone uploads the document on the website, using SDK / API, converting the document into SWF..."

In other words, are you looking for a tool that would AUTOMATICALLY allow all of your users to upload a PPT and have it be instantly available as a SWF?

If that's the case, then no Articulate Presenter won't do that, you would need to publish out of it to the web. However, perhaps you could have a content manager/webmaster who could take the PPT submissions and publish them with Presenter as SWFs.

Hope this helps,

Bob
