Hi all! Is it possible to select any two to three pictures (out of say ten or twenty) and show the selected ones in another slide or layer? And preferably without having to form all the possible combinations separately :). Any interaction would do, I'm thinking something like Drag-and-drop or Pick Many.
sure it is possible, I would use variables to achieve the results you are after. And as always there are many ways to do it. I will try to prepare a demo for you based on the info above - 3 images to select from a collection of 20. And then another exercise with the selected images
I thought it will be easier for me to build a demo rather than describing how I would do this. And as always with a custom build like this, there were few challenges to overcome - reset when revisiting, select and deselect images.
This is an awesome community! Thank you Adam, this surely helps! It would have taken me ages to figure this out by myself. The variables and triggers are logical, but how did you create the invisible rectangles in the second slide?
Other, a simpler in my opinion approach would be to have 20 true/false variables and user could choose 3 images by dragging them to the spot on the right.
Regarding the second slide, I just copied the rectangles on the right side of the first slide as they already had all the states, and I removed the rectangle from each state leaving only the images.

build file attached, if you need more images just copy the existing image, replace it with the new and check if triggers are ok.
