Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down Template for Critique/Use
Nov 13, 2014
Got a new job and get to spend my time putting the Power back in PowerPoint! Most of what I learned I've learned from a few Articulate conferences, the eLearning Heroes Community, and (of course) web video/how-to's. I'm having tons of fun with PPT, and really into using triggers these days to create "layers" with PPT. In this template, I tried to create a progression feel with red to green tabs across the top (linear but on purpose) with the added engagement of Resource and Glossary space holders to give the user a bit of interaction. Users can check resources and glossary (white buttons), and have 3 scenario thumbs up/thumbs down choices to make before moving into the next tab/section. If this were not PPT, I'd make this even more fun (using variables) but at the new job I'm limited to PPT and (ugh) Captivate. Sure it works, but I find it to be clunky. I really miss my Storyline, but am fighting to get it approved in our next budget cycle!

Nice work Mat!! Thanks for sharing with the community.
Polished it up a little bit more, and may have to re-share the finished product. Jumped the gun with my post, I was excited to finally give back to the community. Love me some eLearning heroes! I learn so much here from everyone.
