Does anyone else feel this is outdated? I can't find any research/ information to back up my opinion on this. I avoid using it with my screenshots, I'm hoping to gather others' opinions to see if my thought on this is in line with current trends, or if I'm far off in my thinking.
Since paper is pretty old school, maybe someone should develop a "fractured screen" effect to crop off unwanted areas. :-)
In the meantime, I personally don't mind the torn paper look... kinda timeless and when I see it I inherently understand that what I'm seeing is part of a larger document/passage/etc. Are you thinking there is a better way to show that?
