I think your best bet is to divide any large video into smaller segments, and put each segment on its own slide. You can set the course to advance automatically, so the user doesn't have to click to play all the videos.
This approach would allow you to create a menu to jump to specific sections. It would also be easier to load, since the program could pre-load shorter slides instead of waiting to load one slide with a huuuuuuuge video.

Not to my knowledge. However, you can use a video editing program like Camtasia to do this.
