After exiting unfinished course, it doesn't resume properly
Hi!
I am not sure if I will be able to explain exactly what the problem is, but I will do my best, and hopefully, there is some workaround solution.
Namely, the course has no issues unless the user stops before finishing it in one sit. For example, the user opened a slide and clicked on buttons that were necessary to trigger the next button to change to normal after being set to disabled when the timeline starts. The user exits the course by closing the browser, etc., and the next time they are back, the buttons are opened as previously and can't be clicked again, but the next button is disabled, and there is no workaround for the user to resume the course but start again from the beginning.
Does anyone know how this problem can be solved?
Thank you in advance everyone and a happy new year! :)

It's hard to troubleshoot without seeing the .story file. Best guess: You have a trigger that disables the Next button when the timeline starts. That trigger runs again, even if you have the Slide Properties set to "Resume saved state."
To prevent that from happening, add a condition to the trigger. For example, use a condition that checks whether a T/F variable = False. Also add a separate trigger that changes the variable to True when the interaction is completed.

Hello Anna!
I'm sorry for the trouble with your course; I'm happy to help as well! As an addition to what Judy already recommended, can you try setting the When revisiting slide property to Reset to initial state and see if it helps?
If the issue persists, we'd be happy to look at your Storyline project file to help find a solution. You can upload it here or privately in a support case. We'll delete it when we're done testing.
