Assessment Completion Issue on Android Mobile Device

I have an assessment with 25 questions. The assessment is marked as "completed" on the desktop using our in-house LMS, but it shows as "incomplete" on the mobile device (Redmi Note9 Pro Max - Android 10 - Chrome 128) even after passing the assessment.

  • Hello OrvinCastanha,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like your course works properly when accessed using a desktop computer. As a troubleshooting step, please test your course by doing the following to isolate if the behavior you're experiencing is LMS-related:

    1. Upload your course to SCORM Cloud
    2. Test using both iOS and Android devices that are up-to-date

If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case for testing. We'll delete it when we're done!

I am having the same issue. 450+ iPhone users or computer users worked through the course without any issues, however we have tested 3 android phones (accounts) today and they all show "in progress" even though they all completed the course the same way as 450 other people.

    Why is this happening?

      Hi Amanda1,

I'm sorry to hear you hit this snag!

I see you connected with my teammate, Carlo, in a support case for further troubleshooting. It looks like they couldn't replicate the issue you described, and it appears it's specific to the user's device.

As Carlo mentioned, the user may want to try a new attempt at the course with a new account. If your LMS supports resetting the learner's progress,  you can try resetting their account in your LMS. If the issue persists, I suggest reaching out to the LMS administrator directly for suggestions.

Bit of an update in case anyone reads this down the track.

        • Articulate have tested the SCORM file and think the issue might be ELMO (our LMS).
        • ELMO are pointing the finger back at the SCORM file.
        • I am still investigating!

We are going to include an introduction in future courses to tell our students to complete the course on a computer - hopefully this fixes the problem moving forward.

Thanks to Carlo in the Articulate support team for being so helpful and running so many tests on the SCORM file to help confirm I'm not going crazy.
