Audio over multiple slides in Storyline
Hi everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 74, we've included important fixes and new features.
One of the new features we've included is:
- Create immersive experiences with continuous background audio that sets the tone and keeps learners engaged.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you have questions!
I am searching this topic, as I am about to present internally on my work-around for this. The course I was doing was short - an animated video of sorts. So, rather than putting the content on different slides, I made one slide with all the content on it. This way I could run one audio file in the background. Make for an 'intense' Timeline - but it worked. I was able to use the other features of Storyline that programs like GoAnimate did not accommodate and have audio playing throughout.
This portion of my course ended up being 159 seconds long.

I was thinking to try this approach too for a while. One big advantage to your approach is, you can tween pages into each other any way your imagination wants. You all know those kinetic typographic animations... well with Linda's onepage-approach ( let's give it a name ) you can rotate, tween scaleup and down anything you want with the complete content and thus achieve cool looking transitions.
To illustrate what comes to my mind... something like this...and when your on page 1 and click next..or anything else...your complete pageset will change/rotate whatever.
