Best practice for adding updates to a course without needing to go through the whole course over again

Hi

I have built a course, which now requires some updates due to the product enhancements. However, if I override the existing information, a person who had already gone through the course, will need to go all over it again to find those updates and I want to have a better way so that whoever already completed the course, will only need to see the new updates

    No solution for that...if at design/development start you would have used external sources for parts of the content ( Webobjects linking to external pdfs of HTML-files and/or using Googlesheets and databases for text and images ) then you could simply update those. If you have not taken that into consideration...everyone will be reset to 0.
