Blurry Images in Preview and Published

is there a way to publish the images uncompressed? i bring them in at the optimized size 100%, but even when i publish at max image quality it still comes out blurry published

When you publish, there is an option to adjust the quality of videos, images and audio:

One, tip: Image compression only applies to JPG files.

Could you please prioritize this as a discussion topic with your management team? The community has been asking about this for MORE than 2 years now. Articulate fixed the problem in 360, but neglected S3. My question is how could you neglect S3 when your customers paid good money for it? How is it that 360 was updated and S3 wasn't updated simultaneously (or very shortly afterward)? How is it that we are still talking about this 2 years later? Please advise and give us a concrete timeline for the update. There shouldn't be a work around; there should be a concrete answer. If we don't receive one, who else can we contact at Articulate HQ to express these very clear inequities?

Could we at least get a pointer as to where we can do a quick-fix for ourselves temporarily?
I see the issue is because the content is scaled 1.001 times as in this code:

Where can we find this, and alter the scale manually untill a fix is released? If I modify this to 1, it all looks Sharp again. But I cant find it in the exported projectfiles, just in the running HTML. We are getting lots of complaints now that we use fine detailed images, as it's all blurry.

Sorry you're still seeing blurry images and videos! What are the original dimensions of those media files? How do those dimensions compare to the Storyline slide size?

If the original media dimensions are much larger or smaller than the slide size, the files will have to scale up or down to fit the slide. This will result in a loss of quality. Your best bet is to use files with similar dimensions to the slide size.

This is getting embarrassing for me. I keep getting complaints about poor quality and poor readability for all the courses I produce, and I'm the only producer of e-learning content for a company supporting close to 45.000 yearly users... I push out 2-5 courses / month, and everything I produce looks very poor because of this issue. I'm starting to loose foothold in delivering e-learning content, as other external providers using captivate are producing crisp courses. This is seriously a big issue, and I'm quite frankly sick of hearing that it will be fixed in an upcoming update, but with no dates.... This should really be number  priority. Release a fix for the blurry issues in IE and Chrome, and then handle the other planned bug-fixes in another update not too far from now. So many people have issues with this, and it sucks getting paid to do a job, when I have to deliver this quality...

I hear your frustration, and I’ve updated the team on this bug’s continuing impact. It’s now in the best place to get the attention it deserves. 

Our process for developing Storyline 3 updates is different than it is for Storyline 360, so we aren’t able to keep them in sync. We do occasionally release fixes between updates, but that can introduce risks so we undertake that only in limited circumstances.

I am approaching our renewal next month. I have this issue and it is disturbing that the images (screen captures illustrating our system) are VERY clear and precise in the individual screen building arena - yet the minute I select "Preview" - Blurry! So it is NOT an importing issue from PowerPoint slides into Articulate = that Works.. It is within moving from creating to publishing or previewing that the degradation happens. My test users that I use prior to publishing our training are actually squinting. Not a good thing at all. I have downloaded all the updates and no change.

As mentioned, I am approaching renewal time - - Please find and send out a fix ASAP - I really don't want to go searching for another authoring tool just now.

P.S. I am not scaling down images at all

I do understand that they want to push out new features for SL360 before SL3, but I do not understand how bux-fixes and general stability of their software should be a lower priority for SL3 users. They should have the exact same priority when it comes to stability and bugs, as they are both paid software.
