Buggy subtitles in some videos [Rise 360]

Hi everyone!

I'm adding subtitles in my videolessons, created with an AI tool called "Sonix" in which you upload the mp4 file and it delivers a .srt/.vtt text file.

Subtitles work pretty well but sometimes - on Rise 360 - the first phrase fails to show up. The file works just fine on other platforms but somehow on Rise the process is messed up. Anyone can help me to find the solution?

Subs are "invisible" in the first seconds of the video but then show up just fine 'till the end.

    Happy to help!

    I'd like to ask a few questions to help isolate the behavior. 

    • Is the issue happening to only videos that are created in Sonix?
    • Have you tested on other browsers to see if the issue is browser-specific?

    I did a quick test using a sample video that I have and can confirm that there are no issues with the appearance of the subtitles.

    If the issue is specific to videos from Sonix, please share some samples of the videos and their corresponding subtitles files here or in private by opening a case with our support team for testing. We'll delete them when we're done!
