Built in states-highlight only the item that is selected
Hi All,
I am doing an interaction where users have to click on an object to make text appear on the screen. The object turns a different color when it is selected. The problem is I can't figure out how to change it back to the original color when a new item is selected. Is it just another one of the build in states? A trigger I'm missing? Please advise. Thanks!
You can use a button set which creates a toggle between objects with a selected state.
To do a quick test of a button set:
- create a new slide
- insert four shapes
- select all the shapes and right click and select button set
- preview
You should see that Storyline added a selected state to the objects and when you click on one it changes to selected and turns the other states off of selected.
