Can we track analytics for videos in Rise 360?
Within a course or microlearning in Rise 360, any videos can be uploaded directly onto it. Is it possible to track & view video analytics (e.g. views, engagement, play rate)?
If not possible in Rise 360, how about for videos within Storyline 360?
This is not possible with both Storyline 360 and Rise 360. Storyline and Rise do not provide an interface to track play/pause/time etc. This kind of tracking can be achieved with JavaScript, but there is also a challenge as to where that data goes. If using SCORM, there are some options, but it would mean using data field to store data that it was not intended for, and so there may be challenges for reporting too.
The kind of granular tracking you are looking for is well supported by xAPI, as it allows very granular tracking. Google analytics can also handle this I believe, but you will still have the challenge of getting that data out of Storyline and Rise.
