Closed Caption issues in Preview Mode
Hello,
When I am previewing my Storyline slides/scenes, sometimes the closed caption text does not appear. In addition, the CC button does not appear on some slides in the player.
I have double & triple checked the captions in each slide as well as the player settings, but I am still encountering this problem.
What could be the possible cause(s) for not seeing the closed captioning text & player button in preview mode?

Sorry to hear Closed Captions from Storyline are not playing back as expected!
If the behavior only occurs sporadically, first confirm you're .story file is stored on your local hard drive. Authoring directly off of a network or shared drive may introduce erratic behavior.
If the issue pops up every time you preview the file, it's possible something else is getting in the way within the project itself. Have you deleted or replaced any of the media after importing the captions? Storyline does not automatically re-link those elements. Also, if you’re using any Triggers that hide the Player controls, make sure they’re not hiding the CC button unintentionally.
If you're still having trouble, it would be helpful to see a copy of the .story file for testing. Do you mind uploading that here in the discussion or privately through a support case?
