Course freezing when students are advancing

Hello,

I am having an ongoing issue with courses freezing up on the restricted player in Storyline 360. It seems that if a student tries to advance to another slide before the narration is completed the course will not allow them to go forward or backwards on the course. I can add them to a free course but we need to be sure they are not skipping to the end of the course and taking the exam.

Is there a solution to this problem? I cannot find similar options on the discussion page.
