Cropping images in rise

Hi

Is there anyway to dictate how you want an image show once its cropped in Rise.  So I have to use photos of people in my course.  When I need to decrease the size of the photo, I crop the bottom off but not the top.  However when view it, its cut the top of the head off one or more people even though I didn't crop their head off?
