Degreed

Does anyone have any advice or experiences to share?

So I'm working with an organisation that is leaning towards Degreed as their Learning front end. I can't see too many reasons to dissuade them, in fact it looks great.

I'm interested in the experiences of others as I know some large organisations have rolled Degreed out and they must have had to overcome all sorts of interesting challenges, particularly around legacy LMS integrations, legacy content behaviour etc.

I'm interested in how Storyline content behaves. Rise looks like it will behave well, but Storyline still has questions around being truly responsive. The whole idea of Degreed is mobile, on-demand etc etc, so for us at least, the content needs to be mobile friendly.

Does anyone have any advice or experiences to share?

  • Hi James,

Just wondering whether the organisation went with Degreed in the end? I'm about to embark on some instructional design work with a company that use them and wondered whether you have any experiences to share in terms of RISE and Storyline?

    Thanks!

Hi Angela (James, you need not respond to this as you're already included in another thread on the same subject)

Did you end up working on projects destined for Degreed LXP and, if so, did you gain any useful insights. Would be interested to know as I have just been approached about producing a project which will be destined for Degreed. Thanks

  • I, too, am working on a project that will need to integrate (informal) content hosted on Degreed (which is not tracked by the LMS) with formal SCORM content that is built in Rise and tracked by the LMS.

I'm wondering if anyone has best practices to share. My ideal solution would be to somehow have a block in Rise that would connect back to the Degreed content. I have never used the code snippet function before. I'm wondering if that would work?
