Different number of attempts on 2nd try

Hi !

I have been searching but couldn't find an answer. Can you help me ?

1 would like my quiz to be configured like this : 

On the first try, learners get 2 attempts at each question.

If they fail, they will need to do the quiz from the top, but I would like them to have only one attempt at each question at this time. Is it possible ? If so, how? With variables and triggers?
