Find and replace in Rise?
Hi team
Loving Rise and the enhancements that keep coming through.
One that would be extremely useful is find and replace. I can find on the page I'm on using Ctrl+F but to be able to make blanket changes across the course would be fantastic!
Regards
Ange
Thanks for your +1's folks! It helps us to know how in-demand this feature is.

I need it too, at the moment I am exporting to PDF and finding the words, but then have to change them one at a time. The Find and Replace function should ideally work for a group of courses.

Agreed,
As of late, I have been opening Rise in one window in preview (so I can search) and another window to edit manually. We recently had a role change names and it took some hours to go "fix" all my content.
Something I have done is exported to SCORM, dumped the zip in a good text editor and done the find and replace that way before re-zipping and uploading to the LMS. It is brute-force, but it does work better than my lack of attention to detail.

+1 -- direly needed for product naming updates and rebranding purposes across a litany of Rise 360 courses.
Thanks for checking in, everyone. Allyncia, I'm sorry I didn't see your reply sooner! There isn't an update on this request, yet. We'll let you know if that changes.

Tracy - check out my previous post (w/ attached video) on Page 5 using a translation tool called Smartcat. It is a workaround but allows you to import the 'translated' (find and replace) file back into Rise. Smartcat has changed slightly since my creation of the video so you'll want to "Keep the old flow" when prompted when creating a new project. Hope it helps. Alas, all these workarounds could be avoided by simply adding a feature that users have been asking for, for years. What's up Articulate, where is this feature on your roadmap? Inquiry minds want to know.

Sadly, neither is a "solution." You can, in fact, just open two windows, put the thing in preview and search. The translation method is fairly simple and does get the job done. That said, it really needs to be in the tool. I czn't imagine there are a lot of requests folks have that outweigh what expect to be "basic functionality" of an ID tool.

Not a perfect solution but works for me: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/find-and-replace-in-rise?page=2#reply-651154

I do the same, it is a 50% solution at best.
I am in the process of doing a product renaming project that implicates almost 3000 assets (thankfully only a small number in Rise), we need a better solution.

Hello! Five years later, I am still not finding the find and replace functionality!! This would be so so helpful. Today, I am changing a name on 10 modules and wishing for the simple feature of find and replace!!

Thanks, Chris. There should not have been a link in my last comment. It was just to be the name of the file that can be found on page 5, so I corrected that. The video is on page 5 and can be downloaded for viewing.
Hi there, Ange! Thanks for bringing up that idea. We're tracking requests for that feature, so I'll tag this discussion for follow up if we have more information to share down the road.
I'm so glad you're loving Rise!

Please count me in for this feature. Manual find and replace in all lessons is a horror ))

Has this been fixed? I have a project updating information to Rise project and this is critical to moving parts around or finding the specific section client needs information added. Please advise.

Hi Crystal, This request is quite popular - there is a thread from 6 years ago with the same request. Is someone tracking all the different conversations about this?
