Green screen video
I'm new to Storyline 360 and Rise. But, I am wondering if Storyline 360 can overlay a green screen video clip on the content of a Storyline 360 slide? I'd rather have a video of our CPO discussing items which are changing on the Storyline rather than just his voice and picture.

Looks like I'm not the only one searching for this. This would be a great feature!

Greetings,
A work around may be to save your 'green screen' video as a xxx.gif file.
You have to drag and drop the (animated) gif file in to your slide and add audio as a separate track - but it works in Storyline 3.
Output's OK for the 3 different browsers I've tested after publishing.

Please make this happen!
Hi there Jan!
Do you know what file type the video will be? Here's a list of the file types that are supported in Storyline 360.
Also, is the video transparent? If so, Storyline supports transparent videos in Flash only. In that case, you would want to publish with Flash first and be sure the learners view the course in a Flash-enabled browser.
Thanks, Marty for sharing that idea here! I'm certain it'll help others who come across this discussion.

Hi I'm seeing if there have been any updates on inserting vids made with a green screen (transparent background) with recent storyline 360 updates? Regardless, I'm editing my vids in Camtasia; can anyone help me with production settings? Thanks!
Hi there, Margaret. Thanks for checking in!
While this isn't an option in Storyline at this time, I'll share your need for transparent videos in HTML5 with the team!
If we add this feature in a future Storyline 360 update, we promise to let you know!

Any news on the green screen feature? It's quite important to have it integrated into one of the Articulate tools. Replay360 would be the most natural first implementation since there is already a decent video processing codebase involved for the A/B windowing.
No update at this time, Steve. I've shared your idea in our feature report and this conversation is attached so that we can share any updates with you here.
