Help with Articulate & Google Translate Widget

When publishing my Storyline SCORM package to our LMS, the Google Widget we have installed is not translating the content correctly. We have connected with our LMS host who have reassured us the code is correct and up-to-date for the widget. 

When I select a different language using the widget, it will display the selected language in the closed captioning briefly, and then disappears and goes back to English (course native language). Any idea how we might fix this or if it's related to a setting/code in Storyline? Ideally we would like the widget to work for CC and the content on each slide- which was successful when we were using iSpring for SCORM auth. TIA
