How do I open XLF file to translate it?
Hi Malcolm, thanks for sharing your thoughts about being able to translate your Rise 360 course in a doc format. I would love to dig more into your need for this and share it with the team. What problems or hardships are you experiencing when translating your course with an XLIFF file?
Hi Chino. When I work with Storyline I look at the translations occasionally. For example, a field did not translate and I want to see why. It's simply convenient to look inside to get a sense of what the issue might be. Also for example - last week my colleague and I wanted to quickly step through the entire RISE translation process before he left the company. It would have been great to be able to export a translation doc, add a few mock translations to that doc, and then import that doc back into RISE. Finally, in a past company, working in Storyline, it was standard process to send the translated doc to an internal person to check and correct any misc technical terms before importing. With RISE that would be very difficult if not impossible. Thanks for asking!
