How to fade object while it is moving

Hello, all! I am trying to add a fade out to an object while it is moving along a motion path. The object fades in perfectly fine while it is moving along the motion path; however, it does not fade...

    When we want to do things like this, we use another invisible shape.  We then group the item we want to move and fade with the invisible shape.  The grouped item is given the motion path (with easing set to none), and the visible item inside the group is set to fade out using the same timings as the motion path for the group.

    I know it sounds wierd, but I have attached a sample.

    Thanks, Ron! I tried it and it worked! Just took a little playing around with the timing. Thanks again!
