How to recover source files developed by someone that no longer has access to Articulate360?

A colleague of mine has developed a few training materials using the free version of Articulate 360. Now we would like to update/edit a few things in these modules, but we don't have access to...

In order to update/edit, you need to access the .story master file. I'm assuming that the person saved the .story files for anything they created on his computer. Once he installs a licensed copy of Storyline, he should be able to open those files.
