How to remove correct/incorrect function for fill-in-the-blank questions

I want to include fill-in-the-blank questions that have no right or wrong answer. There is no way to account for the diversity of answers that students will provide in the 'possible answers' function, so instead I have feedback with some concepts that would be included in correct answers. Is there any way to disable the big 'correct'/'incorrect' response and just provide feedback on these questions? h

Adding to this long list of requests for this feature. Here's another explicit example of why not having this feature prioritized is concerning:

We're doing a microlearning on Emotional Intelligence. We're asking learners to identify one emotion that they're feeling from an emotion wheel. Whenever they submit an answer, the Rise360 response is "incorrect".

We'll obviously change the content to not have this situation happen for our learners, but this opportunity to expand their emotional vocabulary is limited by a feature that's been requested for nearly 3 years.

Just adding to the chorous of requests for this feature.

The ability to insert questions without correct / incorrect feedback would be extremely helpful.

A previous posters request for a short essay format that allows the learner to compare their input with a model answer would also be a great addition.

  • This feature is really needed and would allow IDs to use Rise for more reflection types of interactions, I hope it happens in 2024!

      Hi Gloria!

Thanks for sharing feedback on the type of functionality you would like to see in Rise 360!

I've included you in the feature report being tracked, and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share!

Have a great start to your week and happy authoring!

Adding my name to the list as well, this would be a really useful feature and seemingly very easy to implement for knowledge check questions which do not count towards a quiz or any scoring. Is there any update on when it will be considered? Thank you!
