Image link in Rise
Why is it not possible to add a link to an image in Rise? This seems like a basic feature.
Thanks for the candid feedback, folks!
Our product team is always keen to hear about our customers' needs, so I submitted a feature request for this ability on your behalf. Feel free to share any other suggestions you have in this thread or through our feature request form here!

Thanks for sending the request Katie. I got an email confirming that. I appreciate that. Hope it'll become a feature soon.

I googled "how to link images in Rise" and i got here. Yes I'm also hoping to be able to link the image to another part of the course. Thanks all!
Hi SibaPrasad,
We do have another feature request submitted for some anchor link functionality within blocks, which sounds like what you would like to see.
I'll be sure to add this conversation to that report as well so that we can update you here when we have something to share.

Just to add my support- this is a kind of functionality that is taken for granted, it would be great to have more connectivity in all directions.
Thanks

Wishing for the image hyperlink ability too...
In the meantime, within a Tabs block, I added a URL where it says "Upload an image or video file, or embed something from the web." My question is this: Our compliance department has requested that I *remove* the image and associated text that automatically appear due to that URL; can this be done? Thanks!
Hi Cynthia,
I'm not sure what you mean... could you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Hello. I, too, reached this page while googling "how to add hyperlink to static image in Rise." And like SibaPrasad stated above, it would be super awesome to have the option of specifying which block in a lesson for the hyperlink destination.
Thanks for your feedback Carla!

I commented on here 6 months ago about our companies need for a hyperlinked image. While I still prefer to use Rise for our specific needs, other groups within our organization are starting to look to alternate tools for e-learning. I am hoping if this problem isn't already on your roadmap it is now and will be addressed soon. Thank you!
Hi everyone,
Hearing your input on this feature request has been valuable. I want to be sure we capture exactly what you have in mind for image linking. Specifically:
- What is the benefit of linking an image instead of text or using a button?
- Tell me about specific examples of how you'd use a linked image in your course.
Thanks again for helping us understand how you use Rise 360!

Hi, Crystal. For me, I am designing a course that is going to reference third-parties who we may have partnerships with and I want my students to easily access their websites. While I could add a button or text below the logos of each third-party, it would make it less visually appealing. So I would rather just make the logos of each company directly clickable so that the student can easily access each website.
