Is it possible to report on multiple quizzes in Storyline?

Hi folks! It's been a while since I've been in the Storyline game and need a refresher. I want to deliver a quiz to staff in three different roles. I'm thinking about creating a single Storyline file where users can select and complete a quiz based on their role.

So, three quizzes in one Storyline file, but users would only need to complete one quiz to pass. Would I still be able to generate score percentage by only completing one of three quizzes and would I still get question level data in our LMS using this approach?

  • Yes, that's possible. When you publish the course, indicate that it should track all 3 quizzes as final assessments. Storyline will report whichever quiz is finished first—which would be the quiz associated with the chosen role.

Here's an example of how the Tracking would look (except with only 2 quizzes):

Hi I know it's been a year, but I have a follow up.

So if we can set it so that it only tracks the first quiz taken, will the reporting indicate which quiz was passed? Like Role A has to take Quiz A, and B is supposed to take B...will the results show A to A and B to B?

Or if B took A will it show they took A and now need to take the course over again?

The data submitted depends on the publishing standard used:

I'd guess that you'd be able to tell which quiz was taken by the question and response data that's sent. You need to work with your LMS folks about how to pull that data.

For future reference: When you have a follow-up question to an old post, it's best to start a new discussion. That makes it more apt to be noticed and to get replies from folks with different perspectives.
