Is there a way to turn all audio off in a course with many layers and lots of narration

Greetings all,

I'm working on a timeline app that moves to layers in response to a slider moving.

There are about 30 layers, and each has narration.  (Narration makes me a bit crazy from cognitive overload, but its a good thing to have.)

I can put a button set on each layer, but is sure would be nice to set things up so the learner can turn off all the narration at once.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    If there is no other audio element in the course, then the user should be able to effectively mute the audio by using the speaker icon in the player and setting the audio output to the lowest level. That mute selection should be in place until the user un-mutes it. (That's been my experience anyway.)
