My lesson displays the lock and the checkmark
All,
Hi. Hope you can help. I'm experiencing something I've never seen before. I've built a course, and after going through a lesson, exiting, and coming back, the lesson that I just completed displays a checkmark AND a padlock in the Table of Contents, indicating that it has both been viewed and is also 'locked'. However, as soon as you select the lesson, it opens, the padlock disappears, and all the pages within that lesson display a checkmark, indicating that they have been visited. This has only recently popped up, and if it's something I did, I have no idea how I did it, as this would be a player issue/setting. I've attached a screenshot of how it appears initially, as well as once you open the lesson. Has anyone seen this before, or can anyone offer any help?

Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag.
We are currently tracking a known issue where the menu remains restricted on resume when the navigation behavior is set to "Restricted" and the resume behavior is "Always resume". Based on your description of the behavior, wherein the checkmarks and the lock icons aren't displaying correctly, there's a chance that you might be affected by this bug. The best way to know for sure is to test your project file.
Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case for testing? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
You can also try the following troubleshooting steps to see if they work for you:
- Set resume behavior to "Prompt to resume"
- Roll back to Storyline 360 Update 81
