Hi Everyone,
Today we released matching questions in Rise.
Here's a quick look:

Hi Adam
Is there a way to change the colours on these rectangles (for the sake of confusion, didn't want to call them Blocks!) ... being on a white background, the light grey doesn't stand out too much. For example ...
Whether a darker border is used around the rectangles, or even just the arrow tip in the selected colour used in the course, something to help identify these rectangles would be great.

Has this been changed yet? The color scheme is still quite difficult to see. It has been over a year...
This feature has not yet been added to the Knowledge Check Block Greg. It's been released as a new quiz question type as you may have seen in Adam's video linked above.

This is quite timely! Now I can dump the Storyline block I was using to provide this interaction.
Kudos!
Like above, stated by Mike, I'd love the option to modify the theme / coloring of the interaction elements. I'd also love to see the ability to customize the interaction behavior. For example setting an order for the "match" element that is constant - Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, etc.
Hi LaVon,
Our team is still working on creating the stand-alone lessons as pieces you could connect to other blocks, so we'll let you know as soon as the Quiz one is ready.
In the meantime, you can still use a Quiz (Labelled graphic, process interaction, etc.) as a singular lesson before or after a lesson compromised of blocks. Using those in the same course shouldn't cause any issues with tracking/scoring.

I love this, but I'm finding it challenging to use due to the lack of available spaces available. I'm unable to provide my entire definition.
Hi Lisa,
Both the matches and the choices are limited to 90 characters. I'd love to know how many characters you'd need for your definitions?

Well, those 90 characters include spaces in between words. I have business management definitions that are much longer.
For Example: An individual hired to perform a task where the employer has no control over the methods used
That is 93 characters with spaces. I had some that were a bit longer than that. I ended up created a free form drag in drop in SL and then imported into Rise.Lisa Antonelli

Thanks for your feedback, Emma! While this isn't currently on our roadmap, I'll certainly bring it up with our Rise Product team.
And since you mentioned that the Storyline slide was too small to fit all of the definitions, have you tried increasing the Slide Size?

I'm facing the same issue with 90 characters not being nearly enough for definitions. Any update as to if this will change soon? I know I can do it in Storyline and import into Rise, but that defeats the purpose of using Rise to create courses quickly.

Adding my voice to this 90 characters isn't enough whatsoever. 150-200 characters would allow me to provide a definition as part of my matching question
Thanks for reaching out!
If you have time to log a feature request and tell us more about your specific needs, that would be super helpful!

Please expand the number of characters!! Appreciate your consideration.
