Old courses created by ex employee

hi,

I have just removed a team member from Rise and transferred all her courses to my account. Her old courses are stored in a folder with her name/email address.

Do i have to move the courses from the current folder to my 'All courses' folder? or can i leave them where they are?

My concern is this person is no longer a Rise user, Articulate will remove her credentials and content, and i will lose all her work.

thanks!

  • Hi John! Thanks for reaching out! Correct, if you'd like to make sure you have the courses among your content folders you can either duplicate courses or move the courses to All Courses. When you duplicate a course in the transfer folder, the copy appears in your All Courses container.

All the content that gets transferred from an old user goes to that Transfer Folder (the folder with the employee name and email), subfolders,  and any deleted courses by that original user.

Here's more on how to manage content in the Transfer Folder. Hope that helps!

  • Thanks for the info, Renz!

It looks like I have to move the courses one by one - there is no select all and move function. So my next question is, if I leave the courses where they are (under the old employee folder), will Articulate remove them after certain time?

    thanks again!

Hi John, you can leave the courses under the folder that has the employee's name. No, we won't delete the courses in that folder.
